About Us

Priyadarshini English Medium High School is a Co-Education school located in the heart of Banaganapalle town was established in June, 1980 with the meager strength of 15 students in a rented house (Kasba). It’s a prestigious organization established to promote educational excellence within the reach of weaker sections of the people in BPL and surrounding villages.

This little sapling was planted with the utmost care and attention by Mr. M. Kesserling, B.A. Bl.Sc, and his better half, Mrs. J. Shobha Rani, B.A. B.Ed., an iron woman with a lot of patience and passionby fostering young brains via holistic development, this fortunate couple wanted to strengthen the nation by providing quality of education.

The school has been recognized by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh in the year 1991 and the first batch for SSC was rolled in March 1993. In the year 1995 got the permission for up-gradation of X STD. It has gained the well-deserved reputation for delivering a high-quality education for over 45 years. Our commitment ensures for overall holistic development of our students.

The rapid success of the school inspired the management to build its own building at Gurreddy complex and after a tremendous amount of hard work the current school building was opened in 2005.
Our management ensures to provide stress free education. Our students who appear for SSC board exams always come out in flying colours bringing laurels to the school. We are very proud at the outstanding performances of our students in games & sports, various competitions held at district level contests, INSPIRE AWARDS etc. We continue to sustain the quality standards in education by inculcating values like charity, Eco-club activities in children.

The management invested millions of rupees for the construction of 2 storied new building. It consists of 36 spacious class rooms with adjoining toilets in every floor. Class rooms, library, Science Lab, Computer Lab, Water Plant with Chiller and Digital classrooms, etc. The school’s commitment to Ed-Tech is commendable. The installation of interactive smart boards, 55 CCTV cameras, and Digital Broadcasting Technology in each classroom demonstrates our commitment to modernizing both infrastructure and technology. The school has always made a concerted effort to stay abreast of the most recent developments in technology. Our latest additions include internet access all over the school premises and we believe that equipping our children with state-of-the-art technology will help them become tomorrow's leaders.
